The Portland Parks district hosts a number of indoor parks at various community centers. Also offers a wide range of classes for children ages 6 months and up.

List of ideas for getting out of the house and around town on a rainy day.
The Library KidsPage is developed for children (through 8th grade), parents, teachers, caregivers and anyone interested in literature, information and library events for children.
Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) Home to the "Busytown" Exhibit, designed for young children and based upon the popular book series by children's author Richard Scarry. The Discovery Space near the main entrance is designed for children ages 6 years and under.
Adjacent to the zoo, CM2 features regular storytimes, hands-on crafts, tool times, puppet shows, water play area, music discovery zone, and much more.
